The Favorite Layouts feature allows you to save a complete snapshot of your control room setup and reuse it at any time.
Favorite layouts help you:
- Restore a production-ready environment instantly
- Standardize workflows across teams
- Avoid relying on previous events that may have been modified

Save a layout as a favorite
You can save a layout from both the Control Room and the Calendar setup.
From the Control Room
You can save your layout at any time, in any mode (Setup, Test, or Live).
- In the Control Room, click the icon next to the event name (top left)
- Enter a name for your layout
- Confirm

From the Calendar (Live stream setup)
- Create a new live event
- In the "layouts from" list, click the star icon next to a past event name
- Enter a name for your favorite
- Confirm

Load a favorite layout
- Create a new event
- Open the layout selection menu (Layout from)
- Favorite layouts appear at the top of the list (star icon selected)
- Select a favorite layout to apply it
The control room will instantly update with the saved configuration.

Manage your favorite layouts
- You can store up to 10 favorite layouts
- Favorite layouts are displayed with a filled star icon
- Recent event layouts (last 10) are also listed, but with an empty star

Important behavior
- A favorite layout is a snapshot in time
- Any changes made after saving are not automatically updated
- You must save again to update a favorite
