The Media Bin lets you store and manage clips and playlists.
The Media Player lets you play them in your live production.
Shared Media Folder allows you to reuse media across all Studio projects within the same account, while keeping local assets organized.

1. Add Media to the Media Bin
You can add media in two ways:
Upload from your device
- Open the Media bin from the right bar menu.
- Click on the + icon -> Upload Media(s).
- Select your file(s).
- Wait for processing.
Import via URL
- Open the Media bin from the right bar menu.
- Click on the + icon -> Import via URL.
- Paste your link.
Note: URL import supports video files only.
2. Use the Shared Media Folder
The Shared Media Folder is available in your Media Bin and is accessible across all projects and sub-projects.
Add media to the Shared Folder
Drag & Drop
- Drag a clip from your local Media Bin into the Shared Media Folder
- This creates a copy (the clip remains in your local bin)
Right-click options
- From a local clip → Send to Shared Media
- From a shared clip → Copy to my Media Bin
3. Create a Playlist
- Select clips in the Media Bin -> Right click -> Create playlist.
Double click on the playlist in the Media Bin to display or edit it's content.
4. Add a Media Player
- Go to the Production tab
- Click on the + Icon in the layer
- In the media player tab -> Select Media Player
5. Load and Play Media
- Drag & drop a clip or playlist into the Media Player
- (or right-click → “Load in player”)
6. Control Playback
From the Media Player panel & the Production Preview:
- Play / Pause
- Next / Previous (playlist)
- Timeline control
Keyboard shortcuts:

↑ / ↓→ Next / Previous
7. Loop & Playback Options
- Right-click the Media Player
- Select "Open player" -> Enable Loop
End behavior options:
- Freeze on last frame
- Switch to another input
8. Edit or Replace Media
- Double-click the Media Player to edit
- Drag & drop a new clip to replace
- Or right-click → Eject player
9. Recommended Settings
For best performance:
- Format: MP4 / MKV / MOV / WebM
- Audio-only formats: MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC
- Video: H.264 / H.265
- Audio: AAC
- Max resolution: 1080p
- Max bitrate: 50 Mbps
- Local upload: 5 GB max

Alpha transparency support: Only with .mov or .mkv Container ->needs to be yuva420p pixel format
