Setting up transitions for my show

LiveU Studio allow you to choose between multiple scene switching workflows.

To apply a new scene to the output program your could :

Use our default transitions
Upload your own graphics transition asset
Use our auto-apply feature
Link your hotkey to a specific transition -> more information on the dedicated tutorial

To manage your transition

Open the transition setting box from the Production

Setting up my transitions

For each transition, you can edit :

the animation type
its duration
the delay before the transition starts
the hotkey linked to this transition

Please note that only APNG files are supported as graphic transition at the moment. The animation should have no loop and the last frame transparent.

For each transition, you can edit :

Auto apply

Default instantaneous cut without animations.

From now on, when you activate this Transition hotkey, a Transition will play for the predefined duration instead of the default instantaneous cut without animations (auto-apply).

Please note that if you are using the red/green option (program/preview areas on inputs) you can assign a transition to a specific input by using the right click on the Input:
