A mix-minus workflow is an audio setup where a remote guest hears the full program mix minus their own voice, preventing echo and feedback while ensuring clear communication.

How to setup a mix minus workflow for a remote guest?

• First, add your live source(s) and remote guest input.

Set the audio output workflow from the Audio mixer.

• Enable the audio fader from your live source & the remote guest into P1.
• Add a second audio output bus P2.
  • Enable P2 output bus on the live source input fader only.

P2 will be used as mix-minus and sent to the remote guest.

Set the guest video & audio return

• Go to the guest management panel.
• Assign the Program to the video return.
• Select the audio track 2 (P2).
• Save the changes.

That's it! When your remote guest will join the live event he'll be able to hear the full program mix minus his own voice audio.
